View south (upriver) from the docks at the Harbor Marina. The Harbor Marina, at the south tip of Harbor Island, marks the northern boundary
of the Duwamish River Superfund Site. Harbor Island was created from in part dredged material taken from the river during its straightening
and deeping in the early 1900s. Today, Harbor Island is reputed to be the largest manmade island in the world outside of Kobe, Japan.
